Material Thingz started as brick-and-mortar fabric shop and has evolved. The shop name referred to fabric using the old term “material”. I love the play on words! The name now means so much more. “Material” in the Oxford Languages Dictionary, defines “material” as important, essential, relevant. In other words, Material Thingz exists to provide important, essential, and relevant small business information via my small business blog posts.

I also love sharing my travels with you! Everyone needs an outlet, a focus to keep them centered. Mine is traveling to find more fabric. I love exploring different cities and the area small businesses within those cities. I learn so much from visiting small businesses. The information I obtain from traveling inspires me to better run my business.
